สิ่งที่มีอยู่จริงซึ่งทำให้ผู้แบกรับความจริง (ประพจน์) เป็นจริง หากข้อความ "แมวอยู่บนเสื่อ" เป็นจริง ตัวทำให้จริงคือสภาวะการณ์จริงที่แมวอยู่บนเสื่อนั้น
English Definition
The entity in virtue of which a truthbearer (proposition) is true. If the statement "The cat is on the mat" is true, the truthmaker is the actual state of affairs of the cat being on the mat.
